GlobalLogic is seeking a Lab Integration and Field Trial (LIFT) Sr Engineer to join our team in Colombia. You will support CableOS lab integration, testing, and field trials, coordinating with marketing, engineering, and sales to align client expectations and project plans.

The role emphasizes hands-on development and support of embedded Linux systems, cross-continental teamwork, and travel within NAC and LATAM regions to support clients and deployments.

Formación

• Bachelor in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, Telecommunications or equivalent.
• Strong understanding of networking hardware and software design and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of IP networking including routing/switching and TCP/IP stack.
• English at advanced level; another language is a plus.
• Experience with Linux-based servers and system administration.
• Familiarity with DOCSIS, DVB/ATSC, CMTS and BNG configuration is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Support activities for CableOS lab integration, testing, qualifications, and field trials.
• Communicate with marketing, engineering, and sales about client expectations.
• Communicate project status and plans to clients for CableOS.
• Create and maintain project plan documentation.
• Test new software and hardware; report defects to engineering.
• Design, execute, and lead client field trials.
