HCLTech in Bogotá, Colombia seeks an experienced Network Engineer to design, implement and manage complex LAN/WAN infrastructure for enterprise customers. You will interface with management, customers and vendors to develop solutions that meet business needs and SLAs.

Responsibilities include rolling out critical network projects, performing TCP/IP analysis, ensuring documentation, and supporting product development with network expertise.

Formación

• In-depth knowledge of LAN/WAN/WLAN design for voice, data and video networks at Access, Aggregation and Core locations.
• Understanding of TCP/IP data networks and protocols (MPLS, IS-IS, OSPF, BGP4, STP, 802.1q/802.1ah).
• Proficient with Cisco routing, switching and wireless hardware/software.
• Experience with structured cabling, network facilities, electrical, UPS.

Responsabilidades

• Evaluate technologies and architectures to meet customer infrastructure project needs.
• Design and manage rollout of critical network infrastructure projects at strategic and tactical levels.
• Perform analytical, cost analysis and CAPEX work for planning and management of data networks.
• Ensure documentation and SLAs through readiness testing metrics.
