We are seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to own the technical health and architectural evolution of mission-critical Java backends.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of backend development experience.
• Advanced proficiency in Java and Spring ecosystem.
• Strong SQL database management and query optimization.
• Experience with CI/CD and cloud-native environments.
• Experience with microservices or distributed architectures.
• Advanced English proficiency for collaboration with US clients.
• Experience in nearshore/offshore client-facing startup cultures.

Responsibilities

• Lead backend development and architecture for Java backends.
• Design RESTful integrations and API orchestration.
• Manage SQL schemas, queries, and performance tuning.
• Mentor mid-level and junior engineers and conduct code reviews.
• Identify technical debt and drive continuous improvement.
