ADECCO COLOMBIA S A in Medellín seeks a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to maintain, secure, and optimize our enterprise IT environment. The role serves as an escalation point for complex issues, ensuring stability and high performance of critical services.

You will manage Microsoft 365, Entra ID (Azure AD), Active Directory, Intune, Windows Server, virtualization (VMware/Hyper‑V), networking, backup, and ITSM in a global, hybrid setup with on‑site and remote work.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of IT infrastructure administration and support.
• Professional fluency in English for technical discussions.
• Strong experience with Microsoft 365, Entra ID (Azure AD), Active Directory, Intune, and Windows Server.

Responsabilidades

• Manage and maintain Microsoft 365, Entra ID (Azure AD), Active Directory, Intune, and Windows Server environments.
• Administer enterprise virtualization platforms with performance optimization and high-availability configurations.
• Support and maintain enterprise networking infrastructure including switching, wireless, and firewall policies.
• Manage MDM solutions and lifecycle of corporate devices.
• Execute and support vulnerability management and patching across infrastructure environments.
• Ensure backup operations, disaster recovery readiness, and compliance with retention/recovery objectives.
• Act as Level 2/3 escalation for complex infrastructure and network incidents.
• Support ITSM processes including incident/change management and SLA compliance.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and runbooks.
• Participate in on-call rotations and scheduled maintenance.

Senior Infrastructure Engineer

Location: Medellín, Colombia (Hybrid: 3 days on-site / 2 days remote)

Employment Type: Permanent / Indefinite-Term Contract

Salary: Up to COP $10,000,000 depending on experience

Language Requirement: Advanced/Fluent English (Professional Working Proficiency)

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Infrastructure Engineer to support and optimize our enterprise IT environment. This role is responsible for maintaining the stability, security, and performance of critical infrastructure services, while serving as an escalation point for complex technical issues.

The ideal candidate combines strong expertise in Microsoft technologies, virtualization, networking, endpoint management, and infrastructure operations within a fast-paced, global environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain Microsoft 365, Entra ID (Azure AD), Active Directory, Intune, and Windows Server environments.
• Administer enterprise virtualization platforms, including performance optimization, resource allocation, and high-availability configurations.
• Support and maintain enterprise networking infrastructure, including switching, wireless networks, and firewall policies.
• Manage Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions and oversee the lifecycle of corporate devices.
• Execute and support vulnerability management and patching activities across infrastructure environments.
• Ensure successful backup operations, disaster recovery readiness, and compliance with retention and recovery objectives.
• Act as a Level 2/Level 3 escalation point for complex infrastructure and network incidents.
• Support ITSM processes, including incident management, change management, and SLA compliance.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, procedures, and operational runbooks.
• Participate in on-call rotations and assist with scheduled maintenance activities during evenings, weekends, or holidays when required.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT infrastructure administration and support.
• Professional fluency in English with the ability to communicate effectively in technical discussions.
• Strong experience with Microsoft 365, Entra ID (Azure AD), Active Directory, Intune, and Windows Server.
• Hands-on experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper‑V.
• Solid understanding of networking concepts, switching, wireless infrastructure, and firewall administration.
• Experience with backup and disaster recovery solutions.
• Familiarity with ITSM platforms and service management processes.
• Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
