AgileEngine is seeking a Full Stack Tech Lead to guide a squad and build backend services with Java and Spring Boot, supported by an Angular frontend. You will drive technical strategy, design decisions, and coding excellence.

In this role, you’ll mentor engineers, own RESTful API design, and help modernize architecture toward domain-driven design while ensuring robustness and scalable performance across systems.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Tech Lead or Squad Lead guiding teams.
• 6+ years in Java (Spring Boot) and Angular with backend focus.
• Hands-on Kafka experience and RESTful service design.
• Strong knowledge of OOAD, design patterns, and architecture.

Responsibilities

• Technical Leadership & execution of squad deliverables with high standards.
• Core backend development using Java/Spring Boot and RESTful APIs.
• Frontend integration and coordination with Angular UI.
• Modernize architecture toward domain-driven design and bounded contexts.
• Architect RESTful APIs emphasizing proper HTTP verbs and scalability.
• Mentor engineers and promote agile practices within the team.
• Push back when needed to protect architectural integrity.
