Job summary

AgileEngine is seeking a Full-Stack Engineer to develop backend services and APIs while modernizing application architecture. You will design robust backends in Java/Spring Boot and maintain an Angular frontend, connecting UI to server logic.

You’ll lead a shift toward domain-driven structures (DDD) and craft RESTful APIs with scalable patterns, working within cross-functional squads to deliver high-quality features.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience with Java and Spring Boot
• Strong knowledge of Object-Oriented Design (OOD) and software design patterns
• Deep experience building and consuming RESTful APIs
• Experience with relational databases, specifically PostgreSQL and Oracle, and JPA/Hibernate
• Strong SQL skills and transactional database experience for high-transaction platforms

Responsibilities

• Design and implement robust backend services using Java and Spring Boot
• Build and maintain the Angular frontend to connect UI with backend logic
• Lead transition towards domain-driven design (DDD)
• Architect RESTful APIs with proper HTTP verbs and scalable patterns
• Collaborate in cross-functional squads to deliver high-quality features
