Coupa is seeking a Sr Enterprise Architect to own the technical design and governance of custom connectors and MCP server portfolio. You will set architecture standards for agentic AI systems and provide hands‑on leadership to the integration engineering team.

Formación

• 8+ years in software/integration engineering, including 3+ years in an architect or technical lead role.
• Hands-on API integrations/connectors at enterprise scale (REST, GraphQL, gRPC, webhooks, event streaming).
• Knowledge of MCP (Model Context Protocol) or similar agent‑tool‑calling frameworks.
• Strong command of Python, and TypeScript/Node.js; able to read the other.
• Experience with LLM/agent frameworks (Anthropic/OpenAI SDKs, LangChain/LangGraph) and tool‑calling patterns.
• Security, identity/auth, and secrets management (OAuth2, OIDC, SAML).
• Cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and Docker/Kubernetes.
• Experience with enterprise systems integration (Coupa, NetSuite, SAP).
• Excellent written English; lead design reviews with global stakeholders.

Responsabilidades

• Define reference architecture for MCP servers and custom connectors.
• Design and review connector specifications for internal and external systems.
• Establish security and governance patterns: OAuth2/OIDC, credentials management, least‑privilege access, audit logging.
• Own the technical roadmap and backlog prioritization for the integration team.
• Provide architecture guidance to AI Integration Engineers; unblock design decisions.
• Evaluate platform components (iPaaS, orchestration frameworks) for scalability and maintainability.
• Define testing/eval standards for reliability and agent tool‑calling correctness.
• Act as escalation point for production incidents involving connectors/MCP infrastructure.
• Collaborate on compliance requirements (SOC 2, data residency, PII).
