Zusammenfassung

N-iX is seeking a Data Engineer to join our fintech-focused data platform modernization across Latin America. You will build ELT/ETL pipelines in Snowflake using dbt, ensure data quality, and collaborate with BI and analytics teams to deliver scalable data models.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in data engineering, strong SQL, Snowflake, and dbt experience, plus Python, Git, and CI/CD skills. Remote-friendly, with cross-country data operations and modern cloud environments (GCP/AWS/Azure).

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a technical field.
• 3+ years of hands-on data engineering experience.
• Strong SQL and Snowflake expertise; dbt for semantic modeling.
• Python scripting for data manipulation.
• Experience with Git version control and PR workflows.
• Knowledge of CI/CD for data pipelines and DataOps.
• Familiarity with Data Quality Frameworks and automated testing.
• English proficiency for documentation and collaboration.

Aufgaben

• Build, maintain, and optimize ELT/ETL pipelines and semantic models in Snowflake with dbt.
• Implement data quality checks and automated validation across data layers.
• Enforce version control and CI/CD for data transformations and Python scripts.
• Monitor and support multi-country data ingestion and transformations.
• Collaborate with BI, Data Science, and business analysts to translate requirements into models.
• Maintain data dictionaries, lineage, and documentation on the data platform.
