Job summary

BairesDev is looking for a Lead Data Engineer (Snowflake) to design, build, and optimize scalable data pipelines for enterprise analytics. You will drive streaming and batch processing with Python and GCP services, and craft data models for downstream use cases.

Work will be performed remotely in a globally distributed team, with excellent USD or local currency compensation, flexible hours, and strong opportunities for career growth and mentorship.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering or related field.
• Strong Python and GCP experience with BigQuery, Dataflow and Pub/Sub.
• Proven expertise in designing streaming data pipelines and ETL/ELT workflows.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and optimize scalable batch and streaming data pipelines.
• Architect ETL/ELT workflows using cloud-native services and orchestrators.
• Develop data models for analytics and collaborate with teams to ensure data quality.
• Monitor and optimize pipeline performance for reliability and efficiency.
