Nearshore Business Solutions in Latin America is seeking a Data Engineer with strong Snowflake and cloud data engineering experience to design and maintain scalable data infrastructure, privacy-focused data services, and high-performance ELT pipelines for a major U.S. consumer insights provider.

Your work will support secure data collaboration, governance compliance, and the processing of massive data volumes, while collaborating with distributed teams across time zones.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or Software Engineer.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and Python for large-scale data processing and transformation.
• Hands-on expertise with the Snowflake ecosystem (SnowPipes, Streams, Views, ELT pipelines).
• Experience with AWS services (Lambda, Airflow, Redshift).
• Knowledge of data warehouse concepts, scalable architectures, and storage optimization.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable data privacy features and secure multi-party collaboration solutions (data clean rooms, query constraints).
• Build, optimize, and maintain Snowflake-based data warehouse architectures and ELT pipelines.
• Develop data pipelines using SQL, Python, AWS Lambda, Airflow, and Redshift.
• Implement data governance, quality controls, and security measures for sensitive data (PII).
• Create scalable solutions for processing large datasets (>200B records).
• Optimize Snowflake performance via tuning, partitioning, Streams, SnowPipes, Views, and stored procedures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support data accessibility and reliability.
• Support CI/CD and deployment automation using Jenkins.
