N-iX is seeking a Lead Data Engineer & Architect to design and govern a multi-country data platform in Snowflake and GCP for LATAM operations. You will lead end-to-end data ingestion, modeling, and secure architecture across 8 jurisdictions.

You will mentor engineers, implement DataOps with GitHub CI/CD, and collaborate with Product, Risk, and Leadership to translate business goals into scalable data solutions in Spanish and English.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years Snowflake production experience; or 5+ years cloud data warehousing with Snowflake focus.
• GCP Cloud Storage, Cloud SQL, and Datastream (CDC) experience.
• dbt for semantic modeling; Snowflake DCM with Git.
• Advanced SQL and Python proficiency.
• Experience designing multi-tenant multi-country security architectures with RBAC and data masking.
• Spanish for stakeholders; English for technical docs.

Responsabilidades

• Lead architecture and end-to-end development of multi-country data platform across LATAM.
• Build ingestion and streaming pipelines from Datastream into Cloud Storage and Snowflake using Snowpipe/Streams/Tasks.
• Implement semantic layer with dbt and Star Schema for cross-country analytics.
• Manage DataOps with Snowflake DCM and GitHub CI/CD pipelines.
• Enforce governance, RBAC, data masking, and regulatory compliance across 8 jurisdictions.
• Collaborate with Product, Risk, Engineering, BI, and Leadership to deliver business value.
• Mentor engineers and promote testing, code reviews, and CI/CD practices.
