MPS Group LLC in Bogotá is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to lead cloud transformation initiatives. You will design, build, and automate infrastructure across AWS and GCP, and work closely with developers, security, and SREs to accelerate deployment and reliability.

The role emphasizes hands-on work with Terraform, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and modern DevOps practices, with a focus on scalability, cost awareness, and governance in a diverse cloud environment.

Formación

• 7+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Platform Engineering.
• Hands-on with Terraform and IaC in production environments.
• Deep knowledge of AWS services and cloud architecture.
• Experience building and operating solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Experience supporting cloud migration or modernization initiatives, ideally AWS to GCP.
• Proven experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or similar tools.
• Experience with Kubernetes platforms such as EKS and/or GKE.
• Strong scripting and automation skills using Python, Bash, or similar languages.
• Solid understanding of networking, IAM, cloud security, and DevOps best practices.
• Experience with GitOps tools such as ArgoCD or Flux (preferred).
• Familiarity with configuration management tools such as Ansible (preferred).
• Knowledge of FinOps and cloud cost optimization strategies (preferred).

About the Role

We're looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer with expertise in AWS, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Terraform, Kubernetes, and CI/CD automation to support a large‑scale cloud transformation initiative. This role will play a critical part in migrating enterprise applications and infrastructure from AWS to GCP while establishing modern DevOps practices, scalable cloud platforms, and deployment automation. As a hands‑on engineer, you will work closely with software developers, architects, security teams, and SREs to build and automate cloud infrastructure, streamline delivery processes, and enable engineering teams to deploy applications efficiently and securely.
