Higher Options is seeking an experienced Senior Bookkeeper to manage day-to-day financial records for a growing accounting firm. This role is open to candidates globally, with preference for regions that can overlap US hours.

CPA certification is not required; hands-on experience, strong accounting fundamentals, and the ability to keep multiple client accounts accurate and organized are essential to support leadership with clear reporting and robust financial processes.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of bookkeeping experience with US practices.
• CPA not required; overlap with US hours preferred from LATAM or the Philippines.
• Familiarity with US GAAP and tax procedures.

Responsabilités

• Record and maintain financial transactions with detailed ledgers.
• Prepare balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements, and reports.
• Reconcile bank and credit card accounts and investigate discrepancies.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, invoices and payments.
• Maintain the general ledger and depreciation schedules.
• Support budgeting and forecasting efforts with insights.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing and tax season prep.
• Maintain compliance with best practices and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with management, CPAs, and stakeholders in a remote environment.
