Job summary

BairesDev is hiring a Senior Backend Software Engineer – Python to build backend services on AWS for products used by millions of collectors. This role is hands-on and offers growth in cloud and backend skills as you own features from design through deployment.

You will work on serverless AWS, APIs for web and mobile apps, and data models in PostgreSQL and DynamoDB, with Docker/Kubernetes/ECS in a fully remote, flexible environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of backend engineering experience with strong Python proficiency.
• Hands-on experience with AWS Serverless (Lambda, SQS, SNS, EventBridge, API Gateway).
• Background in PostgreSQL and DynamoDB.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, or ECS.
• Advanced proficiency in English.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain backend services on AWS serverless infrastructure.
• Implement features end to end, from design through deployment.
• Build and consume APIs used by web and mobile applications.
• Work with containerized services using Docker, Kubernetes, or ECS.
• Build and maintain data models across PostgreSQL and DynamoDB.
