BairesDev is seeking a Principal Backend Engineer (Python) to shape the backend architecture powering millions of users. This hands-on leadership role lets you own features from design to deployment and work closely with product and design partners.

You will design serverless AWS infrastructure, microservices, and APIs; mentor teams; and drive architectural decisions in a fully remote, globally distributed environment with excellent USD compensation.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of backend engineering experience with Python.
• Hands-on AWS Serverless (Lambda, SQS, SNS, EventBridge, API Gateway).
• Background in PostgreSQL and DynamoDB.
• Proficiency in microservices and event-driven architecture.
• Familiarity with infrastructure as code (CDK, CloudFormation, or Terraform).
• Advanced proficiency in English.
