FullStack seeks a Senior Backend Engineer skilled in Laravel and Go to collaborate with client teams and build scalable backend systems. You will work on both team augmentation and design & build models, delivering production-grade services for various clients.

The role requires 5+ years of backend experience, strong English, and a four-year degree. Remote work is allowed, with PT-aligned business hours and a focus on high-quality, reliable software delivery.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years of professional backend software engineering.
• Advanced English is required.
• Four-year college degree is required.
• Has developed, deployed, and maintained core monolithic backends using Laravel and PHP.
• Has extracted monolithic application logic and rewritten it into Go Microservices.
• Has scaled backend infrastructure to handle high-traffic product launches and high-concurrency user loads.
• Has executed on-call engineering rotation duties with strict acknowledgment SLAs (e.g., 15 minutes).
• Familiarity with building or supporting payments, redemptions, or fraud prevention pipelines is a nice to have.
• Previous exposure to frontend or mobile stacks such as Next.js or React Native is a nice to have.
• Experience using AI coding assistants like Claude Code or Cursor in your daily workflow is a nice to have.
• Availability to work standard business hours aligned with the Pacific Time (PT) zone.
• Ability to work through new and difficult issues and contribute to libraries as needed.
• Ability to create and maintain continuous integration and delivery of applications.
• Forensic attention to detail.
• A positive mindset and a can-do attitude.
• Experience working on Agile/Scrum teams.
• Meaningful experience working on large, complex systems.
• Ability to take extreme ownership over your work.
• Ability to identify with the goals of FullStack's clients, and dedicate yourself to delivering on the commitments you and your team make to them.

Aufgaben

• Collaborate with client teams on backend architecture and integration.
• Design, develop, and maintain Laravel/PHP backends for client projects.
• Migrate or rewrite monoliths into Go microservices to improve scalability.
• Scale backend infrastructure to support high-traffic launches and concurrent users.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and on-call rotations.
