Clara is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to power payments and B2B finance infrastructure across Latin America. You will design secure Java/Spring Boot microservices, while also contributing to frontend interfaces and internal tooling using React. AI fluency will be used across design, coding, and automation to accelerate delivery.

You will mentor peers, ensure robust observability, and collaborate with product, design, and operations to deliver scalable, compliant solutions.

Formación

• 5+ years of software engineering with backend/systems focus.
• Backend mastery in Java/Spring Boot and API design.
• Frontend competency with React for integrated UI.
• Experience designing RESTful and event-driven services (Kafka, RabbitMQ).
• Strong testing/CI/CD practices (JUnit, Mockito, GitHub Actions).
• AI-native mindset across design, coding, and automation.
• English communication and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsabilidades

• Architect core backend infrastructure with secure microservices.
• Ensure high availability and low-latency async processing of data.
• Bridge frontend by developing dashboards and clean API consumption.
• Leverage AI tools to automate workflows and tooling.
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers through reviews and design sessions.
• Own observability with monitoring, logging, and tracing across services.
