Caseware, a remote-first employer in Colombia, seeks a Senior Software Developer III to lead architecture and drive AI-assisted development across a cloud-native SaaS platform. You will shape platform evolution, mentor teams, and ensure security, reliability, and scalable APIs while collaborating with cross-functional partners.

Qualifications

• Degree in CS/SE or equivalent with 8+ years of software development impact.
• Experience designing and operating distributed cloud-native SaaS platforms at scale, preferably on AWS.

Responsibilities

• Define and evolve back-end service architecture and standards for scalability, security, reliability, and APIs.
• Drive architecture reviews, RFCs, and design discussions across the SDLC.
• Lead by example in agentic-AI tooling usage and automate workflows where appropriate.
• Mentor developers through design reviews and AI-focused sessions.
• Improve CI/CD pipelines and overall SDLC for reliability and speed.
• Collaborate with QA, Security, Product, Operations, and stakeholders to deliver robust services.
• Maintain current technical docs and create new artifacts as needed.
