Caseware is seeking an experienced AI Platform Architect to lead the design and evolution of our AI platform. You will define architectural standards, ensure scalable, secure, and trustworthy AI capabilities, and guide multi‑team collaboration across product, security, and engineering.

You will build and operate AI systems powered by LLMs, retrieval pipelines, and agentic workflows, with emphasis on governance, observability, and cost efficiency. This is a fully remote role based in Colombia.

Formación

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience with impact beyond a single team.
• 2+ years building and operating production AI systems.
• Experience designing distributed, SaaS, cloud‑native platforms at scale.
• Experience implementing AI guardrails, governance controls, and safety mechanisms.
• Strong understanding of AI system trade‑offs including latency, cost, accuracy, reliability, and scalability.
• Extensive experience with AWS and infrastructure as code.
• Experience mentoring engineers and influencing architectural decisions.
• Strong English communication and collaboration skills.
• Comfortable operating in fast‑moving, ambiguous environments.

Responsabilidades

• Define and evolve the technical architecture for Caseware’s AI platform with scalable, secure, reusable AI capabilities.
• Design, build, and operate AI systems powered by LLMs, retrieval pipelines, and agentic workflows.
• Create governance, auditability, and traceability frameworks for measurable and compliant AI systems.
• Translate AI advances into practical platform capabilities solving real customer problems.
• Lead architecture reviews, RFCs, and cross‑team design discussions.
• Evaluate new AI technologies and cloud capabilities; lead PoCs informing strategy.
• Balance delivery speed, quality, and long‑term platform health in decisions.
• Drive reliability, observability, monitoring, and incident response for AI systems.
• Partner with Product, QA, Security, SMEs, and Engineering to deliver business value.
• Mentor engineers and raise overall engineering maturity.
