Caseware seeks a Senior Software Developer III to lead architecture and design within an AI-first, cloud-native environment. This fully remote role is based in Colombia, guiding agentic-AI tooling, reviews, and platform evolution across SDLC.

You will mentor teams and shape security, reliability, and automation practices. You will collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to translate technical decisions into business value, maintain observability, and drive scalable backend services across

Formación

• 8+ years of professional software development experience with impact beyond a single team.
• Experience designing and operating distributed, cloud-native SaaS platforms at scale, ideally on AWS.
• Strong fundamentals in OOP, design patterns, SOLID, and code quality.

Responsabilidades

• Create architecture, prototypes, and design proposals delivering near-term business value while aligning with platform vision.
• Influence technical direction through architecture reviews, RFCs, and hands-on delivery across the SDLC.
• Define and execute the product/platform architecture roadmap with senior teams.
• Balance speed, quality, maintainability, and long-term platform health in decisions.
• Break down large initiatives into parallelizable work delivering incremental value.
• Drive automation initiatives, CI/CD improvements, and team-wide best practices.
• Champion innovative platform evolution, evaluate new technologies, and roadmap improvements.
• Ensure security posture, CVE remediation, and secure-transport patterns across cloud and native components.
• Mentor developers through design reviews and AI-assisted development sessions.
