Caseware is seeking a Senior Software Developer – AI Data Engineer to define, design, and implement the data architecture powering Caseware’s AI platform. You will lead scalable data ingestion, processing, storage, and retrieval across structured, unstructured, and multimodal sources, enabling vector search and graph-based knowledge representations.

Formación

• Strong software engineering fundamentals and end-to-end ownership of features.
• Production experience with distributed systems including async workflows, retries, and eventual consistency.
• Hands-on experience building and operating data pipelines for AI systems.
• Experience with AI-related data infra such as vector databases, search systems, or graph storage.
• Experience with retrieval systems (RAG), embedding pipelines, or hybrid search.
• Experience with agent frameworks or memory systems and orchestration of tool-using AI systems.
• Experience operating production systems with monitoring and incident response.
• Cloud experience on AWS building production systems including storage and orchestration.
• Infrastructure as code experience (CDK preferred; CloudFormation or Terraform acceptable).
• Strong collaboration and English communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Design and implement reliable, scalable data ingestion and integration pipelines for diverse data types.
• Build and scale retrieval infrastructure including vector storage and graph representations.
• Develop and operate agent memory systems and pipelines for AI system signals.
• Apply data quality, validation, monitoring, and testing in production pipelines with governance and security.
• Monitor and optimize AI data pipelines for reliability, performance, and cost.
• Design evaluation workflows for AI systems enabling offline testing and benchmarking.
• Lead platform evolution by defining contracts between AI services and data systems.
