NextGenEnergyJobs is seeking a senior manufacturing engineer to optimize aerospace manufacturing processes and lead continuous improvement initiatives. The role emphasizes hands-on expertise in CNC machining, harness fabrication, and soldering, with a strong foundation in kinetics, dynamics, fluid mechanics, power systems, and thermodynamics.

The ideal candidate brings 8+ years in manufacturing engineering, experience with AS9100/IPC standards, and a track record of using lean methodologies.

Formación

• 8+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering, preferably in aerospace or high-tech environments.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes (CNC Machining, hand-soldering, harness fabrication) and foundational engineering concepts (kinetics/dynamics, fluid mechanics, power systems, thermodynamics).
• Experience with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Familiarity with aerospace standards and regulations (AS9100, IPC, NASA/ECSS).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a detail-oriented mindset.
• Green or Black Belt Certification.
• Experience with project management tools and techniques.
• Previous experience as a technician building spacecraft.
