Keller Executive Search is seeking a Director of Quality Assurance to lead enterprise-wide quality strategy and execution for a machining systems manufacturer. You will strengthen quality systems and supplier performance across manufacturing operations.

The role requires 10+ years in manufacturing quality with 5+ years in leadership, a strong ISO 9001 background, and experience in machining/precision manufacturing. ASQ certification is preferred.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, quality management, manufacturing, or a related field.
• 10+ years of manufacturing quality experience, including 5+ years in leadership.
• Experience within machining, machine tools, precision manufacturing, or engineered equipment.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and quality management system requirements.
• Working knowledge of GD&T, CMM inspection, SPC, FMEA, CAPA, and root cause analysis.
• Experience managing supplier and customer quality programs.
• ASQ certification preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Lead quality assurance, quality control, supplier quality, and inspection functions.
• Maintain and improve the company’s quality management system.
• Establish quality objectives, performance measures, audit schedules, and reporting processes.
• Oversee corrective actions, root cause investigations, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Partner with engineering and operations to improve manufacturability and process capability.
• Manage customer quality concerns, supplier nonconformance, and regulatory requirements.
• Strengthen inspection methods, documentation controls, calibration, and traceability.
• Develop quality managers, engineers, inspectors, and supporting personnel.
