Royal York Property Management is seeking a senior Accounts Payable Specialist to support the accuracy, organization, and control of our accounts payable operations. This position is full-time in Medellín with remote work options and close collaboration with our finance, property management, maintenance, and operations teams.

We require experience with Canadian invoicing, GST/HST coding, and managing the full accounts payable cycle.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration with an accounting concentration, or related field.
• Colombian Contador Público qualification or similar is asset but not mandatory.
• Minimum 4 years of directly related accounts payable or accounting operations experience.
• Experience supporting Canadian companies and GST/HST coding is required.
• Experience managing full accounts payable cycle and high-volume invoices.

Responsabilidades

• Review invoices for accuracy, completeness, and proper authorization.
• Code and enter invoices with correct company, department, account, tax treatment, and cost allocation.
• Match invoices to purchase orders, work orders, contracts, and other documents.
• Manage vendor records, payment terms, contact information, and banking details.
• Prepare payment batches and schedules for management review and approval.
• Reconcile vendor statements and investigate discrepancies.
• Monitor due dates, overdue balances, and cash requirements.
• Respond to vendor inquiries regarding invoice status and payments.
• Apply GST and HST treatment to invoices and expenses.
• Assist with month-end activities and reconciliations.
