Job summary

Auxis is seeking an accounting professional to ensure that transactions are processed efficiently and in line with service levels and contracts. You will handle journals, ledgers, and balance sheet reconciliations while collaborating with staff to resolve complex issues and follow up on open items.

The role involves preparing financial statements, maintaining policies, and supporting audits and forecasting. Strong English/Spanish communication and IFRS knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• Two languages: English and Spanish with written and spoken proficiency at least B2+.
• 1–3 years of accounting or finance experience.
• Technical high school diploma in accounting or at least one year of college in accounting.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS/GAAP and related standards.
• Experience with Oracle or Netsuite or SAP is preferred.
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel/Word).
• Detail-oriented with strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to learn and collaborate in a team.

Responsibilities

• Reconcile bank statements, credit card statements, and other financial statements.
• Prepare journal entries and maintain the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Assist in preparing financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Assist in maintaining and updating accounting policies, procedures, and controls to ensure IFRS-GAAP compliance.
• Respond to inquiries from other departments and external parties regarding accounting matters.
• Provide guidance and support to junior accounting clerks.
• Participate in audits, budgeting, and forecasting as assigned by management.
