City of Austin is seeking a Security Coordinator to support the Security Manager by overseeing daily security operations and the Security Operations Center. You will ensure adherence to procedures, coordinate emergency responses, and supervise contract security staff to safeguard employees, guests, and assets.

The role requires knowledge of security systems, laws, and organizational policies, plus strong communication and organizational skills.

Formación

• High school diploma and 5 years in Security Operations Center.
• Two years in a lead capacity or supervisory role.
• Valid Texas Class C Driver's License.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate security operations ensuring SOPs are followed.
• Oversee the Security Operations Center and coordinate crisis management.
• Manage contract security staff, training, and scheduling.
• Evaluate internal and contracted security operations for effectiveness.
• Train staff and monitor job tasks for performance.
• Respond to emergencies and file incident reports.
• Prepare activity reports and communicate with Division Manager.
• Liaise with internal customers for site security assessments.
