Careerxtra in Bogota is seeking a Security Officer to safeguard personnel and assets across facilities. You will conduct patrols, control access, and monitor security systems to deter threats.

The role requires responding to incidents, coordinating with supervisors and authorities, and preparing detailed reports. You will implement security procedures and participate in ongoing training.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of certified security guard training.
• Minimum of two years experience in security.
• Proficiency with CCTV, access control and alarm systems.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts.
• Pass background and reference checks.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct regular patrols to protect people, property, and assets.
• Manage access points and authorize entry to restricted areas.
• Monitor CCTV and alarm systems for irregular activity.
• Report incidents and prepare detailed reports.
• Respond to security incidents and emergencies.
• Coordinate with supervisors and authorities as needed.
• Inspect surveillance and alarm equipment for issues.
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
• Attend training on security awareness and emergency response.
• Ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
