Emergia seeks an SDET/Test Automation Engineer to drive automated testing across modernization from .NET 6 to .NET 10. You will collaborate with developers, QA, and the Tech Lead to build scalable test frameworks and ensure reliable releases.

Responsibilities include designing test frameworks, creating automated tests, integrating with CI/CD, and validating REST APIs. Strong collaboration and problem-solving are essential.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
• 6+ years of experience in SDET, Test Automation, or QA engineering roles.
• Strong experience designing and implementing automated testing frameworks.
• Experience with Playwright or similar modern test automation tools.
• Experience testing web apps built with .NET, React, and TypeScript.
• Experience validating REST APIs, integrations, and backend services.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes.
• Experience working with Git-based repositories, Jira, and Agile teams.
• Strong testing methodologies, defect management, and QA best practices.
• Ability to translate requirements into scalable automated test coverage.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and test suites.
• Create automated functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end tests.
• Collaborate with developers and QA to define test strategies and acceptance criteria.
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and release processes.
• Participate in manual testing to ensure full coverage.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and document defects and quality issues.
• Validate upgrades and dependencies during modernization.
• Execute test automation against web apps, APIs, and services.
• Analyze results, provide metrics, and communicate risks.
