Job summary

Amrize is seeking a Scrum Master to support cross-functional teams and Product Owners in backlog refinement and delivery execution. The role emphasizes eliminating impediments, promoting team self-organization, and data-driven improvements across digital environments.

The ideal candidate has 2–3 years of Scrum Master or Agile practitioner experience, fluent English (B2+), and relevant certifications (CSM/PSM I/SSM). A bachelor’s degree in a related field is required.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate Scrum events and Agile ceremonies: Lead Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review, Sprint Retrospective, Backlog Refinement, and synchronization sessions.
• Coach Agile teams, Product Owners, Business Analysts, and stakeholders in applying Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, and Lean-Agile methods.
• Remove impediments and manage risks to protect sprint goals and maintain flow.
• Support backlog management and refinement with clear user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Monitor velocity, cycle time, and other metrics to drive data-driven decisions.

Role Summary

The Scrum Master facilitates Scrum events and Agile ceremonies, supporting cross-functional teams, Product Owners, and Business Analysts in effective backlog management, refinement, and delivery execution. Their primary role is to eliminate impediments, promote team self-organization, monitor flow and team health metrics, and drive continuous improvement and transparency across digital and technology environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitate Scrum events and Agile ceremonies: Lead Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review, Sprint Retrospective, Backlog Refinement, and synchronization sessions to ensure alignment, transparency, and effective execution.
• Coach teams and stakeholders: Guide Agile teams, Product Owners, Business Analysts, and stakeholders in applying Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, Lean-Agile, and agile ways of working to strengthen team maturity and value delivery.
• Remove impediments and manage risks: Identify, address, and eliminate blockers and risks impacting team progress, escalating issues when necessary to protect sprint goals and ensure continuous workflow.
• Support backlog management and refinement: Coach and assist Product Owners and Business Analysts in backlog management, prioritization, user story definition, acceptance criteria, and work readiness to improve clarity and delivery quality.
• Monitor Agile metrics and team health: Track velocity, capacity, burndown/burnup, cycle time, lead time, predictability, and team health to enable data-driven decision-making.

Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Information Technology, Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Business, Project Management, or related fields. Desirable additional training in Agile, digital transformation, or process improvement.
• Specific Experience: 2 to 3 years of experience as a Scrum Master or Agile practitioner in digital, technology, or enterprise environments.
• Certifications: Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM I), or SAFe Scrum Master (SSM) (Required); SAFe Advanced Scrum Master (SASM), Kanban Management Professional (KMP), ICP-ATF, SAFe Agilist, or SAFe POPM (Desirable).
• Language: English level B2 or higher.
• 3 extra-legal bonuses per year, equivalent to one monthly salary each
