Porch Group is seeking a Sales Analytics Specialist to join our Distribution organization in a remote-structured role. You will analyze agent performance, build dashboards, and automate workflows, partnering with cross-functional teams to drive profitable premium growth.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of analytics experience in insurance, strong SQL and Power BI skills, and fluency in English. Experience with AI tools and CRM systems is a plus.

Qualifications

We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Analytics Specialist to join our Distribution organization and support our rapidly expanding insurance practice. This role blends analytics, automation, reporting, and business strategy. The ideal candidate has experience within the P&C insurance industry, understands the dynamics of agent distribution, with experience manipulating data, creating reports, and automating workflows. You will partner closely with Agency Relationship Managers, Recruiting & Activation, National Accounts, Product, Underwriting, and Finance to deliver the analytics and insights that fuel optimized market coverage, agent performance, and profitable premium growth.

What You Will Do As A Sales Analytics Specialist

• Analyze agent performance, quote-to-bind, retention, loss ratio trends, and geographic opportunity.
• Build reports, dashboards and self‑service tools that help sales managers understand their book, execute initiatives, and identify growth levers.
• Maintain and enhance geographic sales territories and account assignments.
• Leverage third‑party data sources to assess market opportunities.
• Automate manual processes to create efficiency.
• Update and enhance weekly / monthly reporting.
• Create visuals, dashboards, and presentations that tell a clear story and influence business decisions.
• Perform ad‑hoc analysis and communicate findings in a way that is accessible to non‑technical audiences.

What You Will Bring As A Sales Analytics Specialist

• At least 2 years of analytics experience, preferred within P&C insurance (carrier, MGA, Insurtech).
• Proficiency in SQL, Python experience is a plus.
• Experience with generative AI tools (ex: Claude Desktop / Claude Code).
• Hands‑on experience with Power BI & creating Power BI semantic models.
• Demonstrated ability to tell a story with data—clear visuals, narrative structure, business insight.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex concepts to non‑technical audience.
• Comfortable working in fast‑paced, ambiguous, rapidly evolving environments.
• Ownership Mindset: Actively seeks out opportunities, anticipates needs, and builds solutions proactively.
• Preferred - Familiarity with Salesforce or CRM systems.
• Experience working with global and/or US based business teams.
• Excellent written and communication skills in English language.
• Workspace: A quiet space to work, an internet connection of at least 30 Mbps download | 10 Mbps upload.
