Job summary

A recruitment agency is looking for a highly capable US Accountant to serve as a key partner to the VP of Finance at a growing SaaS company. The ideal candidate will manage day-to-day accounting operations including journal entries and month-end close while also overseeing Accounts Receivable and Payable. This remote position requires strong QuickBooks experience and a background in SaaS accounting practices, offering flexibility and a supportive work environment.

Qualifications

• 4-5 years of accounting experience with month-end close.
• Prior experience in a SaaS or subscription-based business.
• Working knowledge of ASC 606 revenue recognition.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day accounting operations including journal entries and reconciliations.
• Lead the monthly close process and ensure accurate financials.
• Manage billing operations including invoicing and collections.

Skills

Bilingual with B2+/C1 English level

Strong hands-on experience with QuickBooks Online

Experience managing Accounts Receivable/Payable

Attention to detail

Familiarity with billing engines and invoicing best practices
