WSP in Colombia is seeking an Intermediary Structural Engineer to advance renewable energy projects across wind, solar, and storage facilities. You will lead the structural design, analyze foundations, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe, efficient solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience in designing reinforced concrete and steel structures.
• 3–5 years of consulting engineering and structural design.
• Registered engineer in one Canadian province is desirable.
• Experience designing wind turbine foundations or substation structures is an asset.
• English proficiency (B2-C1) is mandatory.
• French proficiency (B2-C1) is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead structural engineering for renewable energy projects (wind, solar, storage, substation).
• Prepare calculations, reports, and plans for foundations and structures.
• Provide construction support on-site and in-office (≈10%).
• Ensure designs comply with codes and QA/QC procedures.
• Use finite element modeling software to deliver accurate designs.
