WSP COLOMBIA SAS is seeking an Intermediate Electrical Engineer – Renewable Energy to help design and deliver sustainable energy solutions across Canada from our Quebec City or Montréal offices.

You will contribute to electrical design of solar, wind, and BESS projects, coordinate deliverables, and support site activities while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure quality and timelines.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering.
• At least 5 years of experience in the design of renewable energy projects (solar, wind, BESS).
• Electrical engineer designation in at least one Canadian province is an asset.
• Experience with design software such as ETAP, Easy Power, Cymcap, PSCAD, PSS/E, CDEGS, WinIGS, etc.
• Experience in high and medium-voltage substation design.
• Experience in a medium-voltage collector network design.
• Familiarity with industry standards and interconnection requirements on Canadian networks.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.
• English proficiency (B2-C1) is mandatory.
• French proficiency (B2 – C1) is desirable.

Responsabilidades

• Participate in electrical design of renewable energy projects (solar, wind, BESS) and substations.
• Produce and coordinate detailed engineering deliverables (drawings, studies, specifications, calculations).
• Perform technical reviews and quality control of deliverables.
• Provide technical supervision to junior engineers and technicians.
• Participate in site activities, including construction support, site visits, and commissioning.
• Collaborate with project managers and multidisciplinary teams to ensure technical consistency and schedules.
