AgileEngine is seeking a Ruby on Rails Developer to design, build, and maintain backend APIs with PostgreSQL databases, focusing on performance, scalability, and security. You will write clean Rails code, participate in code reviews, and collaborate with stakeholders to define API requirements.

This is a 100% remote role with a required 4-hour overlap with MDT for LatAm candidates; Ukraine-based applicants need at least 2 hours of overlap.

Formación

• 3+ years of experience with Ruby on Rails.
• Strong command of API design patterns and Rails best practices.
• Solid understanding of HTTP protocols and JSON data structures.
• Experience with PostgreSQL databases.
• Familiarity with Git and collaborative workflows.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setup.
• Role overlaps: LATAM with MDT; Ukraine overlaps with MDT.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and maintain APIs using Ruby on Rails.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand API requirements and specifications.
• Ensure API performance, scalability, and security.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.
• Participate in code reviews and technical discussions.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize API performance.
