AgileEngine is a leading software development partner delivering API-driven services for Fortune 500 brands and growing startups. We seek a Ruby on Rails Developer to design, build, and maintain backend APIs with a focus on performance, scalability, and security.

You will write clean Rails code against PostgreSQL, review code, and collaborate with stakeholders to define API requirements. This remote role requires 4-hour overlap with MDT for LatAm and some MDT overlap for Ukraine.

Formación

• 3+ years of experience with Ruby on Rails.
• Strong command of API design patterns in Rails.
• Solid understanding of HTTP protocols and JSON data structures.
• Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL.
• Familiarity with Git and collaborative development workflows.
• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively in a remote setup.
• Role overlaps LATAM time zone with MDT; Ukraine MDT overlap also applicable.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and maintain APIs using Ruby on Rails.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand API requirements and specifications.
• Ensure API performance, scalability, and security.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.
