Fivetran is seeking a Product Counsel to join our Legal team and advise on the product development lifecycle from ideation to launch. You will partner with Product, Engineering, Privacy and GTM teams to manage risk while enabling innovative data and analytics solutions.

This is a full‑time, remote position offering broad exposure to regulatory, IP and licensing matters for SaaS offerings in a fast-paced environment.

Formación

• J.D. and active membership in at least one U.S. state bar.
• 4–7 years of relevant legal experience counseling SaaS companies.
• Deliver high-quality legal analysis with attention to detail across product counseling.
• Excellent oral and written communication to technical, business, legal and exec audiences.
• Ability to operate effectively in ambiguous, fast-paced environments with competing priorities.
• Creative problem-solver who finds solutions where others see barriers.
• Experience advising software licensing, OSS licensing, compliance and governance.
• Experience using AI tools to enhance legal workflow efficiency.

Responsabilidades

• Advise Product, Engineering and cross-functional stakeholders on legal issues across the product lifecycle.
• Review new products, features and initiatives, balancing risk and innovation.
• Counsel teams on IP, software licensing, privacy, AI, security, and regulatory matters.
• Develop scalable legal guidance, policies, playbooks and training materials.
• Collaborate with commercial, privacy, security, compliance and corporate teams to align issues.
• Monitor evolving laws and translate guidance into actionable steps.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
