Sezzle is seeking a Principal Software Engineer to own and lead the evolution of authentication and authorization. You will architect scalable gateway and identity services in Golang, work with product and security teams, and drive secure, high-performance auth capabilities across a distributed microservices platform.

You will mentor colleagues, influence architectural direction, and contribute to fintech-grade security practices while delivering value in a fully remote role.

Formación

• 12+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Deep backend experience.
• Strong Golang and RESTful API skills.
• Experience with authentication/authorization systems.
• Experience designing API gateways or auth proxies.

Responsabilidades

• Own the technical vision and roadmap for authentication and authorization platform.
• Architect, design, and build scalable auth services and gateway components in Golang.
• Lead migrations with zero-downtime and clear rollback plans.
• Ensure fintech-grade security and regulatory compliance.
• Mentor engineers and promote secure-by-default patterns.
