Job summary

Sezzle is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (Full Stack) for LATAM. You will tackle backend and frontend challenges in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, focusing on scalable REST APIs and distributed architectures.

Qualifications

BS in Computer Science or similar degree.
10+ years of full-stack software engineering experience.
Experience building REST APIs using Java or Python.
Experience with distributed, cloud-based architecture and messaging systems (RabbitMQ, SQS, Kafka).
Experience with React frontend and Typescript.

Responsibilities

Design software applications and features in React.
Develop and scale a distributed architecture, ensuring consistency while scaling.
Coordinate with internal stakeholders to design market-winning products.
Develop and collect metrics to drive continuous improvement of existing products.
Deliver high quality features with tests and reporting standards.
Lead small development teams to bring a project to market.
Mentor other engineering teammates to elevate their knowledge.
Develop and serve REST APIs and collaborate across backend and frontend.
