Job summary

HireHawk Inc. is seeking a Remote Preconstruction & Project Management Coordinator to work with the Director of Construction on pricing, coordination, and delivery of projects for U.S. clients.

The initial focus is preconstruction, estimating, scope development, bid coordination, budgeting, procurement, and constructability review. The role offers long-term autonomy and exposure to cost, schedule, quality, and execution decisions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in construction preconstruction, estimating, or project management.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, specs, scopes, and sequencing.
• Experience preparing bid packages and leveling proposals.
• Ability to review multiple drawing disciplines for coordination and risk.
• Strong written communication for RFIs and subcontractor notes.
• Knowledge of project budgets, procurement, schedules, RFIs, submittals, and change management.
• Comfort working independently in a remote role with high responsiveness.

Responsibilities

• Review drawings to identify coordination issues before field work.
• Prepare bid packages, scope sheets, and clear subcontractor language.
• Identify qualified subcontractors and manage bid packages.
• Level bids and provide recommendations for awards.
• Validate costs with market data, quotes, and subcontractor feedback.
• Identify value-engineering opportunities.
• Draft RFIs and coordinate questions with design teams.
• Support budgets, procurement schedules, long-lead tracking, contingencies.
• Prepare handoff packages with scopes and decision history.
• As the role grows, assist with RFIs, submittals, budgets, and logs.
