Job Duck, LLC is hiring a Pre-Litigation Paralegal Specialist to support the pre-litigation legal team. This remote role focuses on keeping case files accurate and organized, handling medical records, billing docs, liens, and settlement materials to prepare cases for litigation.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, patient with follow-up tasks, and comfortable managing multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment; strong communication with providers and clients is essential.

Qualificações

• 1+ year of experience as a Legal Assistant or in a legal support role, or related bachelor’s degree in Legal Studies.
• Personal injury or pre-litigation experience preferred.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in file management.
• Strong organizational and documentation skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to follow up with providers and third parties.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and case management systems.
• Able to work collaboratively with paralegals and attorneys.
• Reliable computer setup and quiet remote work environment.

Responsabilidades

• Support pre-litigation team with accurate, organized case files and documentation.
• Manage medical records, billing docs, liens, and settlement materials.
• Tag and file correspondence into case files and verify balances.
• Coordinate with providers and clients to confirm information and addresses.
• Prepare settlement statements and assist with disbursements and record-keeping.
• Open liens and assist with lien-related documentation.
• Track response timelines and follow up when needed.
• Support daily case documentation needs for paralegals and attorneys.
