Fidelity Partners seeks a Remote Professional Fee Coder to support VISN 7. You will review clinical documentation, assign ICD-10-CM/PCS, CPT, and HCPCS codes, and determine billability with strong accuracy and turnaround standards.

Must hold an AHIMA/CCS or AAPC/CPC credential and be able to work securely from a US location. This fully remote role aligns with VA business hours and project needs.

Qualifications

• Two years of coding experience in professional services.
• Active AHIMA/CCS or AAPC/CPC credential required.
• Proficient with ICD-10-CM/PCS, CPT and HCPCS Level II.
• Able to work securely from a US location and meet QA targets.
• Maintain high accuracy and timely turnaround.

Responsabilités

• Review inpatient and outpatient professional-service documentation for reportable codes.
• Assign ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS Level II codes for professional encounters.
• Sequence E/M codes according to guidelines and docs.
• Apply bundling rules and appropriate modifiers as needed.
• Enter data in CPRS/VistA and other VA systems accurately.
• Identify and correct coding issues and denials with justification.
• Maintain minimum 95% coding accuracy and required turnaround.
