Fidelity Partners seeks a Remote Professional Fee Coding Auditor to support VISN 7 Health Information Management Services from a remote location in the United States. The role audits inpatient and outpatient professional‑fee coding for accuracy, compliance, and financial impact, with education responsibilities and facility-specific training delivered remotely.

Candidates must hold an active AHIMA or AAPC credential and have at least two years of coding experience, plus three years of consultant

Formación

• Must be a U.S. citizen and able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Active AHIMA or AAPC credential required (RHIA, RHIT, CCS, CCS-P, CPC, or CPC-H).
• At least two years of coding experience in the applicable coding area.
• At least three years of consultant experience reviewing records in large tertiary-care hospitals.
• At least three years of education and training experience and ability to present audit findings.

Responsabilidades

• Independently audit inpatient and outpatient professional-fee coding for accuracy and reimbursement impact.
• Evaluate ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS Level II, and bundling assignments for compliance.
• Verify provider information and documentation support for reported services.
• Identify incorrect or noncompliant codes and modifiers and document findings with supporting authority.
• Maintain audit accuracy of at least 95 percent and support inter-reviewer calibration.
