Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of professional experience in a detail-oriented role such as data entry, document processing, records management, administrative support, quality assurance, or similar work.
• Excellent written English including grammar, spelling, punctuation, and sentence structure; strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to identify errors, discrepancies, and inconsistencies with strong critical thinking.
• Comfortable working in a remote environment and learning new software and tools.
• Willingness to complete company training and pursue CET certification.

Responsibilities

• Review and proofread legal transcripts for accuracy, grammar, punctuation, formatting, and consistency.
• Identify errors and discrepancies using attention to detail and critical thinking.
• Ensure transcripts meet quality standards and deadlines.
• Review high volumes of written information while maintaining consistent accuracy.
• Communicate professionally with clients and contractors to address questions.
• Maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive legal information.
• Learn and apply legal transcription standards and processes.
• Manage assigned work independently and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
• Take on increased ownership as the department grows.
