Job summary

briefCASE Legal Support, LLC is seeking an experienced Case Manager to lead a team of Legal Assistants supporting a Texas-based personal injury law firm. The role focuses on directing case workflows, maintaining quality standards, and delivering client-focused legal support—remotely from outside the United States.

You will supervise, coach, and develop staff, oversee pre-litigation and litigation processes, track KPIs, and collaborate with US attorneys to ensure timely progress and high client

Qualifications

• At least five years of Legal Assistant or comparable legal support experience.
• Two to three years of supervisory or team management experience.
• Strong understanding of legal terminology, case management, and legal documentation.
• Demonstrated leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain confidentiality.
• Proficiency with case management software and Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience supporting a U.S.-based personal injury law firm.
• Familiarity with pre-litigation and litigation workflows.
• Experience with Filevine.
• Experience tracking KPIs, coaching team members, and improving processes.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, mentor, and support Legal Assistants through training, coaching, and performance feedback.
• Monitor case progress, assign tasks according to workload and priorities, and review work for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with firm procedures.
• Oversee pre-litigation and litigation workflows, assist with case preparation, and help ensure matters progress toward key milestones and resolution.
• Track key performance indicators (KPIs), evaluate team performance, address performance concerns, and promote accountability.
• Coordinate with attorneys and team members to address case needs, resolve issues, and maintain high standards of client service.
• Identify workflow improvements, promote consistent procedures, and assist with resource planning and other departmental needs.
