BairesDev is seeking a Lead AI Engineer (Machine Learning) to provide technical leadership of AI and ML teams, design scalable generative AI systems, and work with cross-functional stakeholders to drive enterprise AI strategy.

You will mentor engineers, optimize models, and build robust data pipelines while enjoying 100% remote work, flexible hours, and USD or local currency compensation. English proficiency is required.

Formación

• 5+ years of experience in Machine Learning, AI Engineering, or a related technical role.
• Proven expertise in AI and Generative AI technologies, including Transformers, RAG, and LLMs.
• Strong technical leadership experience, including mentoring team members and stakeholder alignment.
• Advanced proficiency in Python and delivering AI & GenAI strategies.
• Advanced proficiency in English.

Responsabilidades

• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to AI and machine learning engineering teams.
• Lead the design, evaluation, and production deployment of scalable generative AI and transformer-based systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to define, refine, and deliver enterprise-wide AI and machine learning strategies.
• Establish best practices for model optimization, prompt design, and retrieval-augmented workflows.
• Architect high-performance, maintainable code structures to support complex data and model pipelines.
