Paystone is seeking a Remote Hotfix (Technical Service) Developer to rapidly diagnose and fix high-impact issues for enterprise clients. You will work with PHP/Symfony code, craft SQL updates, and deploy fixes safely under tight timelines.

You will collaborate with Support, Success, and Account Management teams, documenting your fixes and contributing to improved hotfix workflows. Fluency in English and the ability to communicate with stakeholders is essential.

Formación

• 2-4 years of experience in software development or technical support.
• Strong SQL skills (queries, updates, imports/exports, data validation).
• Proficiency in PHP and Symfony framework.
• Experience with Git workflows and deployment pipelines.
• Familiarity with Docker, MySQL Workbench, and logging tools like Graylog.
• Clear written and verbal English communication.

Responsabilidades

• Investigate and resolve urgent production issues raised by Success, Support, Project or Account Management.
• Write and execute SQL queries for data corrections, imports/exports, and reporting fixes.
• Perform root-cause analysis on transactional data, logs, and system behaviors.
• Read and understand the PHP/Symfony codebase to troubleshoot issues and confirm logic.
• Build and run custom scripts (PHP, SQL) for bulk updates, data migrations, or exports.
• Deploy fixes safely using internal tools with rollback plans if necessary.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to clarify requirements and validate solutions.
• Document fixes in Jira with logic, risks, and testing steps.
• Participate in Hotfix sprint planning, standups, and reviews.
• Maintain and improve Hotfix workflows, documentation, and best practices.
• Provide proactive communication on ticket progress, risks, and blockers.
