Job summary

Porch Group in Colombia is seeking a Customer Service Representative. You will provide customer care to established customers and their mortgage companies by delivering policy documents, verifying coverage, accepting payments and answering product and service questions.

This position reports to the Customer Service Supervisor and is fulfilled through RemoFirst, Porch Group's Employer of Record partner in Colombia.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Property and Casualty Insurance experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
• Excellent written and communication skills in English language
• Ability to work independently and effectively in a fast paced, high volume call center
• Knowledge of Property and Casualty Insurance; homeowners insurance preferred
• Experience working with global and/or US based business teams

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls and respond to basic customer questions.
• Take payments and mortgage verifications within authority.
• Research customer inquiries and respond to appropriate parties promptly.
• Process calls to meet or exceed service levels.
• Document files and manage information for customer service issues.
• Refer callers to underwriters when appropriate and timely.
• Manage a high volume of inbound and outbound calls.
• Provide accurate information using company tools and policies.
