Job summary

Hire Overseas is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to design and build full‑stack AI applications, agentic systems, and production‑grade AI infrastructure. You will own the React frontend, the Python/Node backend, the RAG pipeline, and the evaluation suite in a 100% remote role serving global clients.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of software or data engineering experience with hands-on AI tools, strong Python/TypeScript, and cloud experience across GCP/AWS/Azure.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of software or data engineering with AI tooling.
• Strong Python and TypeScript/JavaScript, API experience.
• React frontend plus a backend framework, cloud experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop user-facing interfaces in TS/React and backend services in Python or Node.
• Design agentic behavior with orchestration, memory, and guardrails.
• Build RAG pipelines with embeddings, vector search, and retrieval.
• Connect AI systems to enterprise data via APIs and semantic layers.
• Write evaluation suites and monitor cost, latency, quality in prod.
• Adopt CI/CD, testing, observability, and version control.
