SearchApi is seeking an engineering manager to own delivery end-to-end so the founder can step out of the day-to-day loop. You run cadences, surface risk early, and are the first escalation point when something breaks. You lead through clear writing and good decisions, creating Managers of One.

We are a lean, bootstrapped team delivering real products to real customers. You will work remotely on a high-trust, high-bar team with close collaboration to the founder and a strong focus on execution.

Formación

• A written example of how you ran a delivery process or unblocked a team: a real retro, an incident RCA, or a process you designed and rolled out.
• Experience managing a small, high-output engineering team.
• Incident command experience.
• Track record of hiring at a high bar.

Responsabilidades

• Run the cadences: planning, standups, and retros. Lightweight, useful, never theater.
• Track everything. Know the state of every active project and surface risk before it becomes a fire.
• Own delivery metrics. Cycle time, review latency, and reliability. Use them humanely, not as a stick.
• Coordinate incidents. Be the first escalation when something breaks, coordinate the response, and run a blameless RCA that actually changes something.
• Grow the team: 1:1s, coaching, and a hiring pipeline that holds a high bar (job descriptions, scorecards, screens).
