Provectus in Colombia seeks a Forward Deployed AI Engineer who embeds with client teams, learns the business from the inside, and translates operations into scalable AI solutions. You’ll ship production GenAI systems and own outcomes alongside client executives.

You’ll start by doing the operator’s job for weeks, then build measurable improvements using Python/TypeScript, AWS, containers and data workflows. Strong communication with BU heads and CTOs is essential.

Formación

• 8+ years building software with production code accountability.
• Willing to spend weeks in the operator's seat before coding.
• Ability to learn new domains quickly to discuss with domain experts.
• Shipped GenAI/LLM systems to production, not demos.
• Built or owned an evaluation suite for non-deterministic systems.
• Strong fundamentals; productive in unfamiliar codebases; Python/TypeScript expertise.
• Cloud-native delivery on AWS; containers, Kubernetes,IaC, CI/CD.
• Strong stakeholder credibility; able to converse with BU heads and CTOs.
• Fluent English, written and spoken.

Responsabilidades

• Do the operator’s job for two to four weeks at the start of an engagement. Learn the function from inside.
• Reach working fluency in a new domain — insurance underwriting, healthcare revenue cycle, asset flow — in weeks.
• Sit with the operator and the Forward Deployed Executive and redesign the function from first principles.
